The free barcode generator creates printable barcodes in eleven formats, including Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 39 and ITF-14. Type one value per line to make several barcodes at once, then download each one as a high-resolution PNG or as an SVG that stays sharp at any print size. Check digits for EAN and UPC are calculated for you.

  1. Choose the barcode type.
  2. Enter the value, or several values on separate lines.
  3. Adjust the bar width, height, colours and whether the text is shown, then download PNG or SVG.
  • EAN-13: retail products sold worldwide. Enter 12 digits and the 13th, the check digit, is added.
  • UPC-A: retail products in the United States and Canada (12 digits).
  • Code 128: shipping labels, inventory and asset tags. It encodes letters, digits and symbols compactly.
  • Code 39: older industrial and ID-badge systems; upper-case letters, digits and a few symbols.
  • ITF-14: outer cartons and cases of retail goods.

A generator draws the barcode, but it cannot give you a registered product number. Retailers and marketplaces that require EAN or UPC codes expect numbers licensed from GS1, the organisation that issues company prefixes. Use this tool to draw barcodes for numbers you own, or freely for internal labels, inventory and libraries.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Is this barcode generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark, and barcodes are drawn in your browser.

How do I make an EAN-13 barcode?

Choose EAN-13 and enter the first 12 digits of your number. The check digit is calculated and added automatically.

Can I use these barcodes on products in stores?

Only with a number you are entitled to use. Retail EAN and UPC numbers are licensed through GS1; the generator only draws the barcode for a number you provide.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, which is best for print and label software. PNG is an image that works everywhere and is exported at double resolution.

Can I generate many barcodes at once?

Yes. Put one value on each line, up to 50, and each gets its own barcode and download buttons.
